CES Megatrend Review: Field Research & Executive Briefing

Every year, I attend CES in person and turn my on-site observations into a detailed report.

This year’s report exceeded 100 pages and focused on where consumer technology is heading next.

In the CES 2026 Megatrend Review, I broke down the show into three major shifts: Intelligent Transformation (AI evolving beyond language models into systems that can perceive and act in the real world), Longevity (technologies that help extend people’s productive and healthy years), and Engineering Tomorrow (how AI, automation, and energy are reshaping mobility, infrastructure, and power systems).

The analysis is based on direct field reporting from Las Vegas and covers companies such as Nvidia (Vera Rubin), John Deere, Oshkosh, Sony Honda AFEELA, Geely, and Waymo.

I regularly present this analysis in executive briefings and technology education sessions for major corporations, government officials, and notably the teams behind CES Innovation Award and Best of Innovation winners.

Photographed on-site in Las Vegas. Vera Rubin ties multiple chips into a single supercomputer, turning a full server rack into one AI machine.

At its core, my job is turning real on-the-ground experience at CES into practical strategic insights for decision makers.

Beyond CES coverage, I'm the author of three books analyzing the companies reshaping global industry: Your Job Will Disappear (2017, AI and the future of work), Tesla Master Plan (2024, third printing), and a forthcoming book on SpaceX (August 2026).
